Do you need vaccinations?

Our Nurses can provide comprehensive travel health advice and arrange for appropriate immunisations. Please arrange an appointment for a travel consultation at least 6-8 weeks before departure if possible. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.

Travel Risk Assessment: You will be risk assessed and if fit and well, commence your vaccinations on your initial visit. Please note, some immunisations are only available on a private basis and these include Hep B, rabies, yellow fever, Japanese b encephalitis and tickborne encephalitis. Antimalarial tablets will be on private prescription only and can then be sourced from any Chemist, for which they will have set charges.

Queensway patients: If you are a patient at Queensway, please contact Reception to book an appointment.

Private Patients (non-Queensway patients):
If you are not registered at Queensway Surgery, please complete our Online Travel Form to begin your consultation. This ensures we can review your requirements promptly and schedule your appointment efficiently. Our travel nurses (Fliss, Jaime, Max, Andrea & Veronica) will assess your form and contact you if further information is needed.
Please note: As a private patient, we are unable to provide NHS-funded treatment. All immunisations and services will incur a private fee.
