How and when to obtain test results from the surgery
Results of tests and investigations
Did you know that you can now view test results online via your NHS App
When you attend for a test of any kind, you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Once your test results have been received and reviewed, you will be contacted only if the clinician feels that further action is needed.
Our reception staff cannot interpret or provide clinical advice about test results. Your results will be reviewed by an appropriate clinician, who will contact you if further action is required. If you have concerns or questions about your results, please contact the practice.
We do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect, we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
Getting your test results
