Practice Manager - Naomi Hefford
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Assistant Practice Manager - Janet Squires
The Assistant Practice Manager assistst the Practice Manager in the overall management of the surgery. She oversees the activities of the Reception and Admin team and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the running of Reception
Governance Manager - Sally Sheridan
The Governance manager looks after clinical governance, safeguarding, information governance and infection control.
Reception Supervisor: Louise Wells
Our Reception Supervisor manages the day to day running of the Reception team, supported by Senior Receptionists.
Senior Receptionists: Amy Browning and Helen Mant
The Senior Receptionists and the Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries. If you are having a private medical examination please ensure you pay the receptionist on arrival and prior to your medical.
If you have any concerns about appointments or prescriptions please direct your enquiry to the Reception Supervisor / Senior Receptionists in the first instance.
Antenatal and postnatal care is often shared by your GP and midwife who work closely together for the successful outcome of your pregnancy. Midwives also attend local antenatal clinics. Ring 01702 445305 or 617446.
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
